Opening Hours and Art Performance Schedule at Kraton Yogyakarta

Kraton Yogyakarta is open for tourist visit every day from 09.00 - 14.00 WIB. Special Friday's kraton closes at 11.00 pm. Entrance fee of Rp 5,000 (domestic tourists) and Rp 15,000 (foreign tourists). Kraton Yogyakarta complex has 2 counters, the first is located in Tepas Keprajuritan (front of North Square) and in Tepas Pariwisata (Regol Keben). If you would like to see a more complete collection it is advisable to enter through Tepas Pariwisata.

In addition to watching the collection of objects belonging to the royal family, tourists who visit the Sultan's Palace can also see various artistic performances such as macapat, gamelan, wayang orang, wayang golek, leather puppets and srimpi dance in Bangsal Manganti. The show starts at 10.00 am (Monday - Thursday), at 09.00 (Friday), and at 09.30 (Saturday - Sunday).
